Prayer
1 Thessalonians 5:15-18, “See that none of you repays evil for evil, but always seek to do good to one another and to all. Rejoice always, prayer without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.” We know that we must in all things give thanks and bring our prayers and petitions before the Lord, who graciously invites us to His throne with confidence that He will hear our praise, our thanks, our confessions and our petitions! We publish a prayer request list every Sunday in our bulletin and use a prayer chain via email or phone for urgent needs during the week. Some Sundays our list of needs seems so very long…but God, in His power and mercy, reveals His work as many share their praises and God-sightings throughout the week! It is such a sweet time together as a family of God, and a powerful testament that our prayers are vital in our daily efforts to bring healing and Shalom into our broken world.
